API Connection Issues?
- Verify your API key is correct in Settings
- Ensure your provider account has available credits
- Check if your web host blocks outgoing connections
- Provider API may be temporarily unavailable
Tool Not Working?
- Agenistrator requires Administrator role
- System tools (files, database, CLI) require super admin
- Read-write tools must be enabled in Settings
DISALLOW_FILE_MODSblocks file operations
Waiting or Slow Responses?
- Rate limiting may pause requests (wait for countdown)
- Close and reopen the chat widget to reset connection
- More capable models generally take longer
- Provider API may be under heavy load
Semantic Search Not Working?
- Select an embedding model in Settings → Model Settings
- Click Sync Embeddings from Settings → Embeddings
- Requires MySQL 5.7.8+ or MariaDB 10.2.7+
- Lexical (keyword) search always works as fallback
Generate Diagnostic Report
The chat widget includes a built-in report generator for troubleshooting.
Click the Report Issue button in the chat widget to generate a diagnostic report containing:
- Chat history (for context)
- Site information
- Plugin configuration (API keys excluded)
- Error logs (if available)
Reports can be downloaded for your review or optionally sent to developers for support.
