Troubleshooting Tips

API Connection Issues?
  • Verify your API key is correct in Settings
  • Ensure your provider account has available credits
  • Check if your web host blocks outgoing connections
  • Provider API may be temporarily unavailable
Tool Not Working?
  • Agenistrator requires Administrator role
  • System tools (files, database, CLI) require super admin
  • Read-write tools must be enabled in Settings
  • DISALLOW_FILE_MODS blocks file operations

Waiting or Slow Responses?
  • Rate limiting may pause requests (wait for countdown)
  • Close and reopen the chat widget to reset connection
  • More capable models generally take longer
  • Provider API may be under heavy load
Semantic Search Not Working?
  • Select an embedding model in Settings → Model Settings
  • Click Sync Embeddings from Settings → Embeddings
  • Requires MySQL 5.7.8+ or MariaDB 10.2.7+
  • Lexical (keyword) search always works as fallback

Generate Diagnostic Report

The chat widget includes a built-in report generator for troubleshooting.

Click the Report Issue button in the chat widget to generate a diagnostic report containing:

  • Chat history (for context)
  • Site information
  • Plugin configuration (API keys excluded)
  • Error logs (if available)

Reports can be downloaded for your review or optionally sent to developers for support.
